Standardowo SBLive24bit podaje nam dźwięk na dwa przednie głośniki.Muaimy więc pokombinować.

1.Metoda pierwsza.

Aby uzyskać dźwięk we wszystkich musimy stworzyc plugin miksujący. Wiec do dzieła.

touch ~/.asoundrc

Następnie otwieramy ten plik dowolnym edytorem np:

vim ~/.asoundrc

i wpisujemy do niego

pcm.!default {
type plug
slave.pcm surround51
slave.channels 6
slave.rate 48000
ttable.0.0 1
ttable.1.1 1
ttable.0.2 0.3
ttable.1.3 0.3
ttable.0.4 0.3
ttable.1.4 0.3
}

Zapisujemy. W aplikacjach ustawiamy wyjscie dźwięku na alsa default i możemy się cieszyć dźwiękiem ze wszystkich głośników.

2.Metoda druga.

Wraz z pojawieniem się pulseaudio otworzyły się nowe możliwości dla tych kart.

Więc do dzieła instalujemy pulseaudio

aptitude install pulseaudio pulseaudio-esound-compat pulseaudio-module-gconf pulseaudio-module-hal pulseaudio-module-zeroconf pulseaudio-utils

Po zainstalowaniu pakietów musimy nieco zmodyfikować pliki konfiguracyjne pulseaudio.

Najpierw zmieniamy nazwę domyślnego pliku konfiguracyjnego aby go zachować tak na wszelki wypadek.

mv /etc/pulse/default.pa /etc/pulse/default.pa.old

Tworzymy nowy plik konfiguracyjny

touch /etc/pulse/default.pa

Otwieramy go w ulubionym edytorze

edytor /etc/pulse/default.pa

Wklejamy do niego poniższy kod

#!/usr/bin/pulseaudio -nF

### Make some devices default

#set-default-source input

Zapisujemy.

Następnie tworzymy jeszcze jeden pliczek.

touch /etc/asound.conf

Otwieramy go w ulubionym edytorze

edytor /etc/asound.conf

Wklejamy do niego

pcm.!dmix {
type plug
slave {
pcm surround51
channels 6
}
}
pcm.!default {
type plug
slave.pcm "softvol"
slave.channels 6
route_policy duplicate
}
pcm.softvol {
type softvol
slave {
pcm "dmix"
}
control {
name "Master Volume"
card 0
}
}

To tyle konfiguracji.

Teraz musimy dodać sobie do autostartu pulseaudio

We fluxboxie wygląda to tak Do pliku ~/.fluxbox/startup dopisujemy

pulseaudio &

Restarujemy kompa i powinno śmigać.

Ubocznym skutkiem tej metody jest dość znaczny wzrost obciążenia procesora przy odtwarzaniu.

UWAGA

Metody wzajemnie się wykluczaja mozemy używać tylko jednej.

Inną alternatywną metodą może być używanie zamiast alsy OSS4
